About the Event
This special event is designed to bring together the incredible women in our football community for a memorable afternoon.
Guest Speaker - Kate Fisher
Kate is the host and executive producer of The Milkshakes for Marleigh Podcast where she tells the stories of those who have needed blood products to thank blood donors and encourage new ones. This is inspired by her 7 year old daughter Marleigh who has the life threatening condition of Autoimmune Encephalitis.
Kate is also an international award winning storyteller and change maker. She recently returned from The Woman Changing the World Awards in London where she was awarded the bronze medal as Emerging Woman of the Year for her work in blood donation advocacy.
Kate has Child-Centred Play Therapy Practice in Caloundra where she works with children who are facing a range of challenges but her passion is helping children and their families overcome medical trauma.
